Addressing the global biodiversity crisis requires conservation engagement across generations. However, generational amnesia and extinction of experience probably threaten this effort, reflecting declines in nature knowledge, among younger We examined urban green area visit frequency, nature-relatedness, identification skills familiarity with species (plants, birds butterflies) pro-conservation behaviour intentions adolescents (15-17 years, mean = 15.97), young adults (18-29 23.72) older (> 30 40.54) Germany. With a path analysis, we explored relationships between concepts all age groups. Although groups visited areas similarly, skills, nature-relatedness declined progressively from to Nature-relatedness predicted Our findings support importance fostering knowledge through age-sensitive access opportunities connect learn about nature.

Household food consumption is a major driver of environmental impacts globally. Promoting sustainable practices crucial for addressing the challenges resource depletion, waste, and climate change. This study investigates role media literacy in fostering awareness behavior. A total 432 Iranian consumers participated by completing an online structured questionnaire. The data was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), revealing that different aspects literacy, including usage, accessibility, content generation, critical understanding, accounted 93% variance awareness. Additionally, these factors explained 51% intention. combined influences intention 87% To promote consumption, it recommended to establish dedicated networks channels focus on delivering healthy content. Furthermore, organizing programs featuring experts interactive platforms, such as question-and-answer panels, can enhance understanding among media-literate audiences contribute adoption more practices.

Background Ecotourism as a responsible travel to natural areas is proposed strategy for forest conservation by enhancing the livelihoods of local communities. However, engaging in environmentally friendly behaviors during visit crucial factor achieving this conservation. This study aimed examine determinants intention and actual environmental behavior among ecotourists their visits forests. Methods Utilizing social cognitive theory theoretical framework, data from 409 visitors recreational were analyzed. After confirming validity reliability data, structural equation modeling was employed analysis. Results The results indicated that model could explain 59% behavioral 27% visits. Additionally, influence other identified two significant individuals’ intention. Self-efficacy also emerged factors which shape tourists, positively. Discussion findings suggest expectations, learning fellow abilities while addressing barriers exhibiting should be prioritized promotional planning ecotourism.

Introduction In the context of forest conservation, individuals’ attitude can significantly influence their intentions and subsequent behaviors towards conserving forests. However, there is a research gap when it comes to understanding determinants forests conservation. To address this gap, present study aimed investigate variables associated with values from value-belief-norm theory, awareness consequences, ascription responsibility norm activation model on attitudes as main determinant behavior intention. Methods The Data was collected sample 200 students Behbahan University, Iran. through questionnaire designed specifically for purpose. validity reliability were confirmed. Abstract Cultural heritage is an important contributor to sustainable urban development, and its conservation considered a global task. Previous research has primarily focused on the of buildings within architectural contexts world sites geographical contexts. However, there notable gap in green cultural (GCH) landscape-based framework. This study used extended theory planned behavior explore factors pathways that influence public's behavioral intentions toward GCH conservation. Based 1075 questionnaires collected Tokyo, Japan, hypotheses newly constructed theoretical model were tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The results show perceived control greatest positive citizens' behaviors, while social norms do not people's intention conserve. In factors, environmental awareness which including attachment, significantly influences public attitudes towards Additionally, perception, usefulness quality, affects respectively. Our findings have implications for local governments policymakers enhance participation GCH, as well some several new interests further studies.

Introduction Climate change represents one of the most pressing challenges confronting contemporary societies. Despite occupying a relatively small proportion Earth’s surface, cities contribute disproportionately to greenhouse gas emissions. Urban forests, as vital form natural infrastructure, play critical role in mitigating adverse impacts climate change. Effective management and conservation these resources necessitate active engagement from diverse stakeholder groups, with women being particularly important demographic. However, generational differences women’s perceptions their willingness participate urban forest have received limited investigation. This study seeks address this gap by comparing participation intentions two groups women: those belonging Generation Z earlier generations. Methods The sample comprised 401 395 other Data for were collected using questionnaire administered through multi-stage cluster sampling method. data encompassed participants’ awareness change, its causes, dual engage management, demographic characteristics such age, educational level, family size, income, highest education family, levels fathers mothers. analysis was conducted both descriptive inferential statistical methods. Results results revealed significant understanding recognizing forests effects, demonstrating conservation. Across all measures, exhibited higher compared older Furthermore, increased issues positively associated greater management. Socio-economic factors also influenced differently between highlighting nuanced effects variables on intentions. Discussion showed althought observed consistently led heightened among These findings underscore importance adopting intergenerational perspectives emphasizing that promotional programs must be tailored account effectively maximize foster widespread efforts.
