The enhancement of detection sensitivity in microfluidic sensors has been a continuously explored field. Initially, many strategies for improvement involved introducing enzyme cascade reactions, but enzyme-based reactions posed challenges terms cost, stability, and storage. Therefore, there is an urgent need to explore enzyme-free amplification methods, which are crucial expanding the application range improving stability. Metal or metal compound nanomaterials have gained great attention exploitation due their ease preparation, storage, lower cost. unique physical properties metallic nanomaterials, including surface plasmon resonance, surface-enhanced Raman scattering, metal-enhanced fluorescence, infrared absorption, contribute significantly enhancing capabilities. metal-based catalytic exemplified by Fe

It is still challenging to perform a high-throughput digestion on limited amounts of sample prior elemental analysis by atomic spectrometry. Herein, photochemical reactor consisting quartz tube inserted into low-pressure mercury lamp was used fabricate flow droplet photodigestion (FD-PD) device for the small samples. A mixture containing 20 μL blood sample, H2O2, and 10 HNO3 pumped passed through before its online hydride generation fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS). The developed provides significantly higher oxidation capability than conventional ultraviolet (UV) since vacuum UV irradiation below 200 nm from directly irradiates samples with high transmittance, enabling complete within 2 min. Compared methods, proposed method retains several unique advantages throughput (57 pcs h–1), lower mineral acid, oxidant consumption, shorter time, facilitating painless children. Limits detection (LODs) 0.25 0.15 μg L–1 were obtained As Hg, respectively, precisions (relative standard deviations (RSDs), n = 11, 2.0 L–1) better 4%. practicality FD-PD-HG-AFS confirmed detecting Hg in one two urine certified reference materials (CRMs), as well children's satisfactory recoveries (93%–109%).

Food safety is a significant issue that affects people worldwide and tied to their lives health. The of pesticide residues in food just one many issues related safety, which leave crops are transferred through the chain human consumption. Foods contaminated with pose serious risk health, including carcinogenicity, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption. Although traditional methods, gas chromatography, high-performance liquid mass spectrometry, can be used achieve quantitative analysis residues, disadvantages these techniques, such as being time-consuming costly requiring specialist staff, limit application. Therefore, there need develop rapid, effective, sensitive equipment for food. Microfluidics rapidly emerging number fields due its outstanding strengths. This paper summarizes application microfluidic techniques pyrethroid, carbamate, organochlorine, organophosphate pesticides, well commercial products. Meanwhile, study also outlines development microfluidics combination 3D printing technology nanomaterials detecting
