Abstract Nigella sativa L. belongs to family Ranunculaceae, commonly known as Kalonji, is mainly a seed spice crop. Ajmer Nigella-1 (AN-1) and Nigella-20 (AN-20) varieties of were investigated for this study estimate the possible genetic variations their associations between them. Data was collected on various growth morphological traits at 50 days after sowing (DAS), 100 DAS maturity. normally distributed suggested by S-W K-S normality test. Descriptive statistics indicated higher mean value traits; total plant height (Mean ± SE) followed shoot length number seeds per capsule respectively. Analysis variance measured significant differences variability among means p ≤ 0.05 0.01. The regression plot goodness fit data with expected through R 2 (COD) . Pearson’s correlation showed positive highly association all 0.01 any improvement will directly affect slight increment in trait, yield plant. Principle component analysis extracted 3 components Eigen more than 1 contributed approximately 99.74% variation present traits. Phenotypic estimated both genotypic environmental expression AN1 AN20 makeup phenotype morphology. Although phenotypic, values traits, dry weight. High moderate heritability (broad sense) (total height, root length) reproductive (number capsules, flowers, plant) that are high yielding varieties. coupled advance over potential opportunity these yield. A small difference observed phenotypic coefficient presence considerable base stability critical respectively given conditions. Over stage 4 further breeding programs.

Understanding the diversity in morpho-phenological characteristics, as well variations nutrients and nutraceutical compounds among different buckwheat genetic resources, plays an important role their effective use breeding purposes. In 2020 2021, a total of 23 accessions were grown Slovenian environment. During this period, selected traits evaluated together with analysis protein content, antioxidant activity, 17 phenolic compounds. A remarkable variation thousand seed weight was observed between years while content remained constant both locations. Regarding compounds, it confirmed that grains are excellent source these Among rutin, vitexin, epicatechin, orientin identified predominant components grains. The evaluation common revealed considerable studied characteristics within varieties Sweden-1, ´Tempest, Dozhdik performed under conditions.
