In order to effectively alleviate the continuous cropping obstacles in Zanthoxylum bungeanum forests, different volume ratios of bio-organic fertilizer and microbial were used as remediation agents investigate their effects on phenolic acids soil physiological biochemical characteristics replanted Z. seedlings. The results showed that combined application significantly reduced contents gallic acid (GA) caffeic (CA) (p < 0.05) content malondialdehyde (MDA) leaves increased activity catalase (CAT) 0.05). Compared with control group without fertilization (T0), lowest MDA content, highest superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) CAT activities, accumulation soluble sugars (SSs) proteins (SPs) observed under T6 treatment (2:1 ratio fertilizer). comprehensive evaluation principal components had score. That is, alleviation effect was most pronounced when 2:1 combination. This study confirms potential biofertilizer technology for repairing provides a scalable ecological scheme sustainable cultivation bungeanum.

Zanthoxylum bungeanum residue has attracted increasing attention owing to its antibacterial effect, which presents potential as novel antimicrobial agents for the management of algal blooms. In this study, ability Z. extract control blooms been firstly verified. Then, response surface methodology was employed optimize flavonoids yield, primary component in extract, and underlying photosynthetic inhibition mechanisms on Tetrodesmus obliquus investigated. Results showed that highest yield total increased 4.08% when extraction conditions were a liquid-to-solid ratio 10:1, ethanol concentration 60%, temperature 80°C, time 30 min. Meanwhile, treatment with at doses 40.0 mg/L significantly decreased Fv/Fm PIabs values T. by 24.36 88.87% 50 h, respectively. The added induced damage multiple levels physiological biochemical processes cells, including reduced electron transport capability, disrupted energy transfer photosystem II, disruption OEC structure, altered distribution PSII reaction center. To our knowledge, study first verification residue’s algicidal potential, these findings contribute deeper understanding allelopathic offer valuable insights

Zanthoxylum bungeanum leaves were regarded as a waste byproduct for long period of time, yet their functional components presented potential novel antimicrobial agents. However, effectiveness in controlling algal blooms remains unexplored. In this study, the inhibition effect Z. leaf extracts on was firstly demonstrated, and flavonoid profiles extract identified using non-targeted metabolomics analysis. Then, response surface methodology performed extraction to further evaluate feasibility industrial application. Specifically, effects cell density, photosynthetic efficiency, antioxidant activity Tetrodesmus obliquus investigated. The results showed that yield flavonoids from reached 6.85% under optimized conditions an ultrasonic power 600 W, LSR 20:1 mL/g, ethanol concentration 77.5%, duration 18 min, temperature 80 °C, which significantly decreased Fv/Fm PIabs values by 54.60% 98.22%, respectively, after exposure T. 40.0 mg/L 66 h. Meanwhile, treatment with at dose generated T-AOC 4.0 times higher than control without addition extracts. These suggest could be used development potentially effective biological algicides. Our study provides data support algicides realizes resource application waste, achieving synergistic outcome both economic ecological benefits.

Pseudomonas putida is known to cause spoilage in edible mushrooms and fish. Huajiao essential oil (HEO), extracted from the pericarp of Huajiao, exhibits broad-range antimicrobial properties. This study investigated chemical composition HEO its inhibitory effects potential mechanism against P. putida. The major components were found be linalool (33.65%), d-limonene (15.17%), sabinene (14.22%). minimum concentration was determined 10 mg/mL. Treatment with resulted intracellular substance leakage, compromised cell membrane integrity, increased fluidity, reduced viability. also led accumulation reactive oxygen species inhibited metabolic enzyme activity. Additionally, electron microscopy revealed significant disruption morphology. Molecular docking analysis suggested that linalool, d-limonene, may inhibit genetic material replication expression. These findings indicate can target multiple pathways putida, making it a natural drug candidate this bacterium.

The precise segmentation of Zanthoxylum bungeanum clusters is crucial for developing picking robots. An improved Mask R-CNN model was proposed in this study the natural environments. Firstly, Swin-Transformer network introduced into model’s backbone as feature extraction to enhance capabilities. Then, SK attention mechanism utilized fuse detailed information mask branch from low-level map pyramid (FPN), aiming supplement image detail features. Finally, distance intersection over union (DIOU) loss function adopted replace original bounding box R-CNN. trained and tested based on a self-constructed cluster dataset. Experiments showed that achieved 84.0% 77.2% detection mAP50box mAP50mask, respectively, representing 5.8% 4.6% improvement baseline model. In comparison conventional instance models, such YOLACT, Scoring R-CNN, SOLOv2, also exhibited higher precision. This can provide valuable technology support development
