Nutrition during pregnancy remains a significant public health concern globally, including within the United States. Adequate food sources play crucial role at every gestational stage of pregnancy, impacting perinatal well-being, fetal development, and long-term maternal child health. ABSTRACT Background High neighborhood deprivation is linked to increased cancer and overall mortality. Prior studies demonstrated higher inflammation in people from high areas. The area index (ADI) a composite measure of income, education, employment, housing, which quantifies deprivation. We used the All Us dataset test whether inflammation, measured via c‐reactive protein (CRP), albumin, neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR), differs by ADI survivors. Methods Our sample included individuals with history lung, breast, prostate, colorectal cancer, filtered for presence inflammatory biomarkers. quartiles based on 3‐digit zip code biomarkers electronic health records. estimated association between using adjusted logistic regression ( n = 690 CRP; 4242 albumin; 5183 NLR). Results had mean age 66.2 ± 10.1 years, 63.0% were female, 86.8% White. Mean CRP (11.5 17.5 mg/L) NLR (3.6 2.2) indicated moderate inflammation. In fully model, there 2.04 (95% CI:1.02, 4.11) 2.17 odds CI:1.16, 4.13) elevated when comparing quartile 4 3, respectively, lowest quartile. Regression models not significant albumin or NLR. Conclusion Area associated CRP, marker stress that may lead risk chronic diseases among Future survivors wider range help strengthen this association.

Abstract Introduction Disadvantaged populations have higher rates of chronic disease, including heart cancer, and diabetes. Race, ethnicity, lower socioeconomic status, poverty all contribute to these disproportionate rates. Other factors, systemic racism, climate change, poor diet, lack food access, epigenetic influences, that are distributed experienced differently across vulnerable also play a significant role in the development diseases. This comprehensive review contributors diseases emphasizes unique focus on identified emerging factors. Methods An ad hoc literature using OVID Medline Web Science was conducted. Results Findings from prior studies indicate multiple stressors, both isolation combination, their negative impacts physical mental health minorities exacerbated by change. Discussion Various stressors dramatically increase disease risk minority groups. Recommendations for future research elucidate climatic, racial, dietary adversity with presented. Further study this area is critical achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals improving public outcomes.
