Aim This study aims to comprehensively and systematically review the current status of research on probiotics HIV/AIDS, while also exploring future hotspots trends in this domain. Methods The Web Science (WoS) Core Collection database was queried up until May 13, 2024, retrieve relevant literature HIV/AIDS. Utilizing CiteSpace, VOSviewers, Bibliometrix software, scientific achievements frontiers field were analyzed. Results As 14, a total 90 articles included in. publication output area peaked 2017, with subsequent decline number post-2019. United States emerged as leading country terms article count (32 articles), University Western Ontario being institution highest output. Dr. Reid G contributed most (12 articles). In addition key terms, high-frequency keywords immune activation, inflammation, microbial translocation. burst analysis suggests that vaccines may become focal point research. Conclusion Future should focus elucidating types probiotics, intervention timing, optimal strains (in mixing ratios) context Furthermore, exploration into role probiotic metabolites, such short-chain fatty acids, vaccine development is warranted.
