Approximately 1.2 million scorpion stings are reported globally each year, resulting in an estimated 3000 deaths. Of the 2500 known species, about 40 considered medically significant. In Ecuador, where at least 47 species exist, information on remains scarce. A nationwide cross-sectional analysis was conducted all officially cases of documented epidemiological surveillance reports from Ministry Public Health Ecuador between 2021 and 2024. total 1633 were identified, with women accounting for 52% (n = 849). The highest incidence observed among children aged one to four years old, rates 18.16 19.11 per 100,000 inhabitants males females, respectively. Geographically, Amazon region most affected, province Morona Santiago reporting 284.14 inhabitants. Scorpion represent a significant underreported public health threat Ecuador. This study highlights considerable disease burden, particularly specific regions country, underscores urgent need targeted interventions policy changes, including local production antivenoms.
