Large hospitals in China typically face high-density patient flows, highly concentrated medical service demands, and significant impacts on surrounding transportation systems. To explore this issue depth, study selected a sample of 135 from the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region constructed structural equation model based multi-source data to empirically analyze key factors mechanisms influencing traffic attraction for different types hospitals. The findings reveal that level is most critical factor affecting hospital attraction, with differences pathways between general specialized For hospitals, size remains an important factor, but influence has shifted traditional static indicators such as construction area number beds more dynamic diversity indicators, departments. second influential accessibility, particularly availability parking spaces, which significantly their reflecting patients’ strong demand convenient when accessing care. This highlights evolution across provides new insights theoretical support optimizing planning resource allocation.
