Valorization of lignocellulosic biomass and food residues to obtain valuable chemicals is essential the establishment a sustainable biobased economy in modern world. The latest greenest generation ionic liquids (ILs) are deep eutectic solvents (DESs) natural (NADESs); these have shown great promise for various applications attracted considerable attention from researchers who seek versatile with pretreatment, extraction, catalysis capabilities biomass- biowaste-to-bioenergy conversion processes. present work aimed review use DESs NADESs valorization biowaste as pretreatment or extraction agents.

There is a need for innovation in plant-derived pharmaceuticals, food supplements and nutraceutical products regarding the use of more eco-sustainable solvents their extraction. Furthermore, poor oral bioavailability several phytochemicals with health promoting effects stimulates research field pharmaceutical formulations. Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) are formed by natural compounds, can be considered as future being especially useful preparation nutraceuticals food-grade extracts. In this paper various NADES were prepared using sugars, aminoacids organic acids. Rutin (quercetin-3-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6))-β-d-glucopyranose) was used model compound to study NADES. Moreover, effect eutectic mixtures on rutin’s water solubility studied. Proline/glutamic acid (2:1) proline/choline chloride (1:1) have comparable ethanol. The proline/glutamic containing rutin pharmacokinetic Balb/c mice while compared dosing suspension. Plasmatic levels measured HPLC-MS/MS showing increased longer period permanence plasma treated animals. This reports possible non-toxic preparations.
