Accurate discrimination of metal species is a significant analytical challenge. Herein, we propose novel methodology based on liquid-phase cyclic chemiluminescence (CCL) for the identification cobalt speciation. The CCL multistage signals (In) luminol–H2O2 reaction catalyzed by different have decay coefficients k. Thereby, can facilely identify various according to distinguishable k values, including complicated and structurally similar complexes, such as analogues [Co(NH3)5X]n+ (X = Cl–, H2O, NH3), Co(II) porphyrins, bis(2,4-pentanedione) cobalt(II) derivatives. Especially, number substituent atoms also influences value greatly, which allows excellent between complexes that only subtle difference in group. In addition, linear discriminant analysis provides complementary solution improve differentiating ability. We performed density functional theory calculations investigate interaction mode H2O2 over species. A close negative correlation adsorption energy observed. Moreover, calculation evolutions decomposition into double hydroxide radical shows high level consistency exists activation barrier value. results further demonstrate coefficient signal associated with catalytic reactivity Our work not broadens application but technology speciation analysis.

Chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer (CRET) efficiency can be enhanced by confining CRET donors and acceptors within nanoscale spaces. However, this is often affected uncertainties stemming from the random distribution of in such confined environments. In study, a novel nanospace was created through surfactant modification carbon dots (CDs) exhibiting aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics. Hydrophobic could effectively nanospace. The distance between controlled anchoring AIE-CDs as acceptors, resulting significantly improved efficiency. Furthermore, AIE-CDs-based system successfully applied to detection hydrogen peroxide (H

In this study, S-methyl derivatives of dithiocarbamates (DTCs) were found to significantly enhance the chemiluminescence (CL) between Ce(IV) and efficient, environmentally friendly nitrogen-doped carbon dots (N-CDs). Based on elucidation CL mechanisms, an innovative approach high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with N-CDs materials detection (HPLC-CDCL) was first proposed. The developed method successfully applied highly sensitive determination three kinds DTCs fungicides (dimethyl dithiocarbamate, ethylene bisdithiocarbamate propylene bisdithiocarbamate) in tea. recovery established ranged from 70.51% 116.45% relative standard deviations below 9.40%. limit (S/N=3) as low 0.19 µg/L (as CS2), which is superior previous methods comparable UPLC-MS/MS. Moreover, present free solid phase extraction offers excellent selectivity. This study puts forward a novel idea for food safety environmental field.
