Electric vehicles (EVs) have been widely considered an essential element to contribute green and smart transportation, which will further enhance the development of cities. Hong Kong, as one largest metropolises in world, has promoted deployment EVs for both private public transportation sectors over past decade, with substantial financial subsidies encouraging policy incentives. With rapid penetration EVs, especially market passenger cars, Kong may face challenge insufficient charging facilities next few years. As such, research study aims develop a mathematical model using topological method map out feasible locations new EV on Ap Lei Chau Island, construct small Python program optimize mapping process these locations, estimate energy consumption associated economic analysis foster spatial planning facility networks. In conclusion, optimal revealed match growth usage facilitate emergence transportation.
