Crumb rubber-modified asphalt mixtures have been proven to extensive utilization value in road engineering. However, the rubber releases more fumes during construction period, which causes severe harm human health and environment. This research focused on emission risk of fume from crumb asphalt, then inhibition technology was also optimized. Firstly, behavior hazardous evaluation were investigated. Polymer Ca-alginate capsules with rejuvenator bring a high healing level for asphalt concrete under dry environments; however, the levels of bituminous mixtures containing water conditions are still unknown.
