Purpose Reducing CO 2 emissions from transportation is crucial for achieving carbon neutrality in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries by 2060 or earlier. This study aimed at analyzing transportation-related energy consumption and emissions, along with their determinants mitigation measures planned to achieve GCC countries. Design/methodology/approach To objectives, pressure-state-response (PSR) framework was utilized. Various methods were employed within PSR framework, including econometric analysis using EViews, modeling low platform (LEAP) content of relevant policy national documents NVivo. Findings The results indicated that population economic growth, increased fuel consumption, have led a growth use Per capita are higher than those several carbon-neutral transportation, approximately 1.8 bn metric tons need be avoided Strategies related alternatives, vehicle technologies mass transit been reduce Originality/value holistic approach analyze It provides implications highlights urgent innovations transformative change sectors

The growing popularity of remote and hybrid work has changed the dynamics how teams function accomplish tasks, creating opportunities to align practices with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Remote not only promotes labor market inclusion by eliminating barriers such as those transportation but also reduces carbon footprint associated daily commuting. However, despite advantages work, researchers practitioners point problem unstable engagement among workers. This study examines key factors influencing in models, looking at these vary depending on degree nature work. Based a systematic review, 14 critical were identified, followed development questionnaire analysis responses from 181 employees representing various models. results obtained survey indicate universal importance that work–life balance, open access organizational knowledge, personalized environment have for building engagement. At same time, extent form employment, team integration methods influence other factors, revealing differences between fully employees. findings underline effective strategies foster should be based adapting actions taken specific conditions.
