Rail transit is an important means of ensuring the sustainable development urban transportation, but disturbance events caused by natural disasters, human factors, and other influences can lead to disruptions in rail operations. To cope with impact on networks, explore changes network performance recovery strategies under influence from a resilience perspective, this paper overviews existing research assessment for networks. Firstly, characteristics model construction method are analyzed. Secondly, basis combing connotation system resilience, defined, while metrics indexes classified summarized. Finally, failure scenarios transportation deeply studied discussed. The results show that has been widely concerned scholars, certain have achieved three aspects connotation, strategy. Nevertheless, further needed these aspects. We propose future directions involve exploring modeling methods aligned actual topologies, developing unified focusing uncertain events. provide reference resilient operation transit.

Abstract Unlike most urban rail transit (URT) resilience studies on URT lines or networks under major disturbances, this paper focuses the assessment of stations high‐frequency daily disturbances with minor impacts. A metric different levels is proposed, which calculated based multiple criteria, including number delayed passengers, degree congestion, economic loss from service suppliers’ perspective, extra in‐station travel time, walking distance, and waiting time passengers’ perspective. two‐stage passenger flow redistribution model developed stage one focusing route adjustment disturbance, while two determining path within disrupted station. case study Simaqiao Station in Chengdu subway network China conducted. The numerical results indicate that station demonstrates strong scenarios, although it faces challenges certain identified disturbances.
