Accurate short-term forecasting of power load is essential for the reliable operation comprehensive energy systems ports and effectively reducing consumption. Owing to complexity port systems, traditional methods often struggle capture non-linearity multifactorial interactions within factors creating load. To address these challenges, this study combines variational mode decomposition (VMD), temporal convolutional network (TCN), long memory (LSTM) develop a multi-feature-based VMD-TCN-LSTM model ports. VMD first used decompose series into multiple, relatively stable components mitigate volatility. Furthermore, meteorological features are introduced TCN-LSTM model, which feature extraction capability TCN term-dependent learning LSTM. Comparative analyses with other common models using observed data from coastal in China demonstrate that proposed achieves higher prediction accuracy, an R-squared value 0.94, mean squared error 3.59 MW, absolute percentage 2.36%.
