To duly and correctly deliver parcels, both the capacity delivery route of a vehicle need to be considered. Thus, process can characterized as capacitated routing problem with three-dimensional loading constraints (3L-CVRP), which is an NP-hard problem. solve problem, mathematical model established in this paper minimize total distance maximize rate, simultaneously. Additionally, hybrid algorithm that combines (3D) packing based on residual space optimized (RSO) strategy improved genetic (IGA) proposed. Initially, proposed employs modified Clarke–Wright savings generate feasible set solutions. Furthermore, building upon traditional algorithm, elite retention introduced, enhanced order crossover method utilized improve stability its global search capability for optimal Finally, during each iteration RSO integrated verify feasibility 3D scheme. Two comparative experiments are conducted 22 benchmark instances actual logistics data university against two other algorithms, demonstrating RSO-IGA achieves superior solutions efficiency.
