ABSTRACT The present paper questions the content validity of eight creativity‐related self‐report scales available in PISA 2022's context questionnaire and provides a set considerations for researchers interested using these indexes. Specifically, we point out some threats to (e.g., creative thinking self‐efficacy , creativity, openness intellect ) including ambiguity construct definition, underrepresentation, or item overlaps between constructs. We then discuss from theoretical angle, outlining how important is clarity domain definition corresponding test content, avoid possible jingle‐jangle fallacies sets overlap same/similar items attributed different constructs) which undermine utility resulting scores. also approaches empirically quantifying validity. In all, this calls cautious use interpretation creativity data 2022 as it stands. It guidance further examination 2022.
