Cordyceps militaris solid medium polysaccharides (CMMPs) were extracted using an ultrasound-assisted enzyme method, and the process conditions optimized via response surface methodology (RSM). The CMMPs separated into four components named CMMP−1, CMMP−2, CMMP−3 CMMP−4 ethanol fractional precipitation, their monosaccharide composition structural properties analyzed by molecular weight analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT–IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Congo red test, ultraviolet–visible (UV-vis), atomic force (AFM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). RSM could predict yield of CMMP (R2 = 0.9928), polysaccharide was 15.43% under selected 3.1% cellulase addition, a liquid–solid ratio 42:1, extraction temperature 61 °C, time 60 min. Glucose galactose main constituents precipitated polysaccharides. Furthermore, exhibited antioxidant activity, CMMP−1 demonstrated stronger activity in vitro. This study demonstrates possibility developing natural food from medium.

In this study, the process conditions, physicochemical properties, structural composition and activity of polysaccharides isolated from leechee peel (LPP) by ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) with enzyme alkali solution (ASE) were compared. The results showed that total sugar content LPP extracted UAE accounted for 75.65 %, which was significantly higher than solution. optimum conditions as follows: temperature 68.78 ℃, ultrasonic enzymolysis time 39.68 min, pectinase dosage 4.03 solid–liquid ratio 1:30 g/mL, power 360 W. antioxidant activities structure polysaccharide prepared under different It found UAE-LPP an α-type containing 15.83 % uronic acid. Moreover, strong in anti-lipid peroxidation reducing ability. Ultrasound-assisted enzymatic method is effective means to improve natural plant polysaccharides, has advantages short time-consuming, simple easy operation, can greatly utilization rate lay a theoretical scientific basis development LPP.

Ipomoea batatas polysaccharides (IBPs) have many important physiological functions. The optimal extraction conditions were time of 40 min, solid-liquid ratio 1:8 and ultrasonic power 240 W. 1D/2D nuclear magnetic resonance (1D/2D NMR) analysis showed that the main chain IBP-1A was mainly composed →4)-α-D-Glcp-(1→ →3, 6)-β-D-Glcp-(1→ residues. In vivo experiments polysaccharide significantly increased levels antioxidation-related enzymes metabolites in older mice. It could relieve oxidative stress injury delay aging. Therefore, this study provided a new theoretical basis for development IBPs as antioxidant food.
