Federal
Retail
Pharmacy
Program
(FRPP)
facilitated
integration
of
pharmacies
as
partners
in
national
efforts
to
scale
up
vaccination
capacity
during
the
COVID-19
pandemic
emergency
response.To
evaluate
FRPP's
contribution
across
various
sociodemographic
groups,
data
on
bivalent
mRNA
vaccine
doses
administered
September
1,
2022-September
30,
2023,
were
evaluated
from
two
sources:
1)
FRPP
reported
directly
CDC
and
2)
jurisdictional
immunization
information
systems
all
50
states,
District
Columbia,
U.S.
territories,
freely
associated
states.Among
59.8
million
United
States
this
period,
40.5
(67.7%)
by
partners.The
proportion
ranged
5.9%
among
children
aged
6
months-4
years
70.6%
adults
18-49
years.Among
some
racial
ethnic
minority
groups
(e.g.,
Hispanic
or
Latino,
non-Hispanic
Black
African
American,
Native
Hawaiian
other
Pacific
Islander,
Asian
persons),
≥45%
partners.Further,
urban
rural
areas,
81.6%
60.0%
doses,
respectively.The
partnership
approximately
thirds
provided
access
for
persons
a
wide
range
demonstrating
that
program
could
serve
model
address
services
needs
routine
vaccines
provide
health
public
emergencies.
