Abstract Poultry meat and eggs are considered as major sources of food for rapidly increasing human population across the globe. During rearing poultry, different antibiotics were included in poultry diets sub therapeutic doses to attain improvements growth performance. Recently, use production has been one reasons behind emergence antibiotic resistance pathogens. The pressing issue led complete or partial bans on promoters many parts world. Moreover, there have increased concerns among consumers about residues products. These administrative an incidence bacterial disease outbreaks thus compromising performance, welfare, economic outcomes producers. This ultimately attracted attention researchers find alternative strategies that could replace bring production, health, safety benefits systems. non-antibiotic mainly include probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, phytogenic substances, organic acids, antimicrobial peptides, enzymes, bacteriophages, egg yolk antibodies. Inclusion these solutions demonstrates promising results terms performance birds’ health. demonstrated through nutrient absorption, proliferation beneficial bacteria, reduction pathogenic species, metabolites serve energy intestinal epithelial cells host, positive modulation immune responses. Apart from reducing colonization species also exhibited satisfactory efficacy foodborne pathogens like Salmonella Campylobacter jejuni which cause illness population. In this paper, we reviewed studies evaluated effects types poultry. A description mechanism action, advantages, disadvantages gut health parameters discussed paper.

Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) involves multiple consecutive miscarriages in early pregnancy, affecting a significant number of Indian women and placing substantial physical emotional stress on expecting couples. This expert consensus aims to highlight probiotics as promising option for enhancing fertility supporting successful outcomes, offering hope individuals couples affected by RPL. A group fourteen experts with diverse expertise gynecology, obstetrics, from across India gathered between June 29 30, 2024. According the experts, advanced maternal age emerges an independent risk factor miscarriage, increased risks among older women. The major contributors RPL include thyroid disease polycystic ovarian disease. Experts emphasize that vaginal microbiome dysbiosis, characterized reduced dominance Lactobacilli, is associated adverse outcome, such preterm birth, loss, events Oral probiotic supplementation, particularly strains like L. acidophilus rhamnosus, may improve embryo implantation, reduce miscarriage risk, support maintenance. healthy lifestyle choice minimal use antibiotics are important creating positive reproductive outcome. present opinion supports potential benefits probiotics, Lactobacillus species, managing improving outcomes. By promoting balanced microbiota, reducing inflammation, modulating immune responses, play critical role success.

Coccidiosis in broiler chickens continues to be a major disease of the gastrointestinal tract, causing economic losses poultry industry worldwide. The goal this study was generate symptomatic Eimeria maxima (1000 oocysts) infection determine its effect on luminal and mucosal microbiota populations (L M) jejunum ileum (J IL). Samples were taken from day 0 14 post-infection, sequencing 16S rRNA performed using Illumina technology. Infected birds had significantly (p < 0.0001) lower body weight gain (BWG), higher feed conversion ratio (FCR) = 0.0015), increased crypt depth, decreased villus height 0.05). significant differences alpha beta diversity observed primarily at (D7). Analysis taxonomy indicated that J-L M dominated by Lactobacillus, IL-M, changeover Candidatus Arthromitus Lactobacillus as taxon observed, which occurred quicky infected animals. LEfSe analysis found J-M chickens, more abundant (IF) chickens. These findings show E. affects small intestine time-dependent manner, with different effects populations.

The widespread use of antibiotics causes the development antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains, which have a severe impact on poultry productivity and human health. As result, research is continuing to develop safe natural antibiotic alternatives. In current study, Bacillus pumilus SA388 was isolated from chicken feces confirmed be probiotic. selected strain tested for its antimutagenic antioxidant capabilities before being employed as probiotic food supplement alternative. effect B. broiler chickens' growth performance, gut microbiome, blood biochemical markers, immunological response, meat quality also studied. showed significant bactericidal activity against Streptococcus pyogenes, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Klebsiella pneumonia. A total 200 chickens were used in present divided equally among four experimental groups (ten birds per group with five replicates): 1 (control, G1) received basal diet without SA388, 2 (G2) supplemented 0.4 mg/kg 3 (G3) 0.8 4 (G4) 1.6 SA388. Over 35 days, SA388-supplemented outperformed G1 terms body weight gain, performance index, feed conversion ratio, preference G4 treatment. levels alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), cholesterol decreased significantly (P < 0.05) increasing dosages compared control group. Dietary supplementation at resulted improved lipid profile, thyroid function, microbiota (G1). Compared broilers treatment (G1), addition enhanced juiciness, tenderness, aroma, taste. Adding different doses average intake while economic relative efficiency measures. conclusion, has been proven an effective nutritional supplement.
