Healthcare waste (HCW) management is a complex issue influenced by many factors, including technological, economic, environmental, and social factors. It possible to regard the evaluation of best treatment technique for HCW as challenging case MCDM (multi-criteria decision-making), where various alternatives criteria must be considered. The presentation handling shaky data are crucial choosing technology. In order address issues with Fermatean fuzzy (FF) data, we first build consensus-based WASPAS approach in this study. suggested integrated methodology, rank determined using method an FF environment, attribute weights estimated entropy measure technique. preceding, technology assessment considered make proposed structure's applicability more transparent. study, four methods—chemical disinfection, microwave cremation, autoclaving—are options. According study's findings, autoclaving most effective method. Additionally, demonstrate sensitivity several weight sets test stability our intriguing approach. We also call attention contrast between decision-making practices now use.

Decisions on waste management systems are subjected to multiple sustainability criteria, including environmental, social, and economic criteria. Decision makers therefore can benefit from systematic approaches evaluate different options considering This study reviews multi criteria decision making (MCDM) life cycle assessment (LCA) that assess the of systems. We present a framework for integrating LCA-MCDM approaches. First, we identified most used MCDM methods published in literature highlight technical literature. Then, key issues LCA studies were reviewed discussed. The review results indicated there only limited number integrated Furthermore, more than half did use approach failed consider all three pillars sustainability. There is also lack detailed information inventory part which reduces reproducibility clarity studies. In addition, normalization weighting convert environmental impact categories each scenario into single scores often neither clearly explained nor justified. Also, about experts involved decision-making process as well procedure acquiring their opinions not fully presented. Finally, approaches, relevant related standards set recommendations performing an ensure scientifically robust, meaningful reliable decisions.

Healthcare decision-making has often been viewed as a complex multi-dimensional problem due to medical, technological, social, ethical, economic, and environmental factors along with multiple conflicting objectives the participation of different stakeholders. Several multi-criteria (MCDM) techniques have successfully deployed resolve this issue, providing transparent, consistent, accurate, timely solutions. This paper reviews 140 journal articles published during 2013-2022 (available in Scopus database) on MCDM applications healthcare decision-making. Those are subsequently categorized into 11 application areas, i.e., (a) supply chain management, (b) medical device material selection, (c) disease identification treatment, (d) information system, (e) logistics, (f) operations management healthcare, (g) quality evaluation, (h) risk (i) waste (J) COVID-19, (k) miscellaneous. Their contents also critically analyzed concerning year-wise, journal-wise, institution-wise, country-wise publications, authors' nationality, employed, other mathematical tools considered for criteria weight measurement uncertainty modeling, relation keywords. The analysis identifies Waste Management most explored area; Computers Industrial Engineering, Journal Cleaner Production, Sustainability popular journals; Shiraz University Medical Sciences, Iran, contributing university; India productive country respect several authors co-authors; analytic hierarchy process tool. It would help professionals understand how researchers efficiently benefits various solving healthcare-related problems.
