FeCl3 and polyacrylamide (PAM) were used to investigate the effect of coagulation, flocculation, their combination on algae cells extracellular organic matter (EOM) at different phases. PAM was skilled in aggregating sweeping substances rather than binding EOM, while could interact with EOM. The flow turbulence released EOM trapped flocs formed by PAM, resulting worse harvesting efficiency. conditioning process followed exhibited best performance due its synergistic effects cell collision attachment. Algal act as a coagulation aid facilitate floc formation, excessive would deteriorate performance. During growth cycle from lag phase stationary phase, content continued increase, reached maximum which be an optimal temporal window microalgae harvesting.

Most of the suspended river load from Tigris and Euphrates rivers is deposited in Mesopotamian Plain Iraq. This comprises sediments consisting minerals organic particles generated weathering, erosion, transport, sedimentation. Therefore, it crucial to analyze, either quantitative or qualitatively, types sediment transported by load, addition potential value they may add agricultural lands irrigated rivers. Herein, samples were collected both for physical, chemical, mineral assessments. The results revealed predominance silt particles, followed clay, then sand. presence clay increased while that sand decreased with further travel into pH values ranged 7.39 7.70 electrical conductivity 1.39 2.16 ds m
