Recently, some research has explored the production of nitrous oxide (N2O) through biological denitrification NO derived from flue gas under both mesophilic and thermophilic conditions. However, effects concentration on N2O its optimal range for conditions remain unclear. In this study, we conversion to at 45 °C using flask tests. The highest efficiency was 92%, with 1.3 × 105 mg/m3 detected in headspace an initial 20 mM solution. ratio reductase (NOR/N2OR) peaked a mM. 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis highlighted positive correlation between Escherichia-Shigella Propionicicella accumulation. Metagenome results further indicate that Escherichia possesses norVWR genes but not nos genes, enabling rather than N2, which is distinct typical denitrifying norBC. This study demonstrated 10–20 identified unique denitrifier special functional contribute These findings could deepen our understanding mechanism help develop process emission control reclamation.
