The discharge of organic and inorganic nitrogenous pollutants in wastewater leads to eutrophication disrupts the ecological balance. Therefore, pressing need for an effective treatment method has become increasingly evident. A robust bacterium Pseudomonas stutzeri H3 capable simultaneous nitrogen removal was isolated from activated sludge coking system. optimal conditions ammonium quinoline were as follows: C/N ratio 15–20, initial pH 7–8, culture temperature 30 °C, shaking speed 150–300 rpm. At 200 mg/L 100 quinoline, strain achieved above 90% efficiency, exhibiting excellent capabilities. outstanding efficiencies presence different sources further confirmed capability H3. whole genome sequencing metabolic intermediates determination performed elucidate gene function annotations, genes, pathways. findings provide a promising pathway treat wastewater.
