(1) Background: This study investigates the tumor immune microenvironment, focusing on cell distribution in lung adenocarcinoma. (2) Methods: We evaluated fifty cases of adenocarcinoma, and suitable areas for further studies were annotated histological slides. Two cores per case obtained, one from tumor's center another its periphery, introduced into three paraffin receptor blocks optimized processing efficiency. The 4-micrometer-thick tissue microarray sections stained H&E CD68, CD163, CD8, CD4, PD-L1; (3) Results: Our investigation revealed significant correlations between PD-L1 expression cells presence CD163+ macrophages, CD4+ CD8+, CD68+, cells, also CD8+ T cells. Additionally, while we observed some differences cellular components densities these not statistically significant. However, distinct regions identified, suggesting spatial heterogeneity landscape. (4) Conclusions: These results emphasize intricate interactions Understanding patient profile could improve selection immunotherapy, ensuring that those most likely to benefit are identified.
