As the world population continues to grow, demand for clean water is increasing daily, making it a crucial resource access. However, there are ways harness abundant resources like solar energy and seawater produce water. The present studies have conducted experimental investigations convert into freshwater using stills, where utilized as primary heat source evaporation. temperature distribution inside stills was analyzed flat plate made of three different materials: copper, stainless steel, aluminum. To examine performance researchers employed computational fluid dynamics simulations (Ansys R15.0). results showed variations in among materials. Copper plates achieved highest temperature, approximately 44.5 Celsius, followed by aluminum at 43.91 while steel exhibited lowest around 42.01 Celsius. average flux across materials 581 W/m2. Additionally, observations indicated that amount convection occurring copper 121.108 Watts; aluminum, 118.517 105.05 Watts. radiation 29.93 W; 16.14 13.49 W.

Abstract In recent years, with the development of solar seawater desalination technology, many evaporators are affected by precipitated salts during evaporation process, which can reduce efficiency. this work, flexible fabrics made polypyrrole (PPy)/MXene obtained impregnating prepared PPy ink onto waffle like fabrics. The combination and fabric greatly improves water absorption performance fabric. average rate structure is 1.43 kg m −2 h −1 , efficiency under a single light source 85.13%. After 15‐h testing cycle total 8 cycles, lasting nearly 120 h, device remained stable. structural characteristics fabric, based on Marangoni thermal effect, make it possible to suppress salt precipitation evaporation, avoiding large particles covering surface reducing This experiment successfully demonstrated long‐term stable providing new ideas for evaporators.
