One of the challenging problems Punjab, most populous province Pakistan, is surface water-quality problem Ravi River, which flows through main cities province. At present, overall status water quality very polluted, primarily due to residential and industrial wastewater directly discharged into River a network drains. Due poor water, river ecosystem not favorable for aquatic surrounding environment. Hence, management options are proposed reduce pollution. Therefore, study was formulated identify sources pollution along their potential impact on course channel. In addition, applied numerical model WASP 8.1 (Water Quality Simulation Program) discover best strategy improvement quality. Through simulation it found that, if flow at headwater link canals increased up 50%, with 75% in concentration drains wastewater-treatment facilities, can be improved an acceptable limit standards.
