Background:
Intimate
partner
violence
(IPV)
is
the
most
common
form
of
violence,
presenting
a
significant
public
health
concern,
especially
for
women
and
girls.
Help-seeking
can
reduce
future
IPV
mitigate
adverse
outcomes,

behaviors

Nepal.

Domestic
abuse
is
known
to
be
harmful
victim-survivor
mothers'
well-being,
and
women
are
disadvantaged
by
gender-biased
systems
in
England.
Less
known,
however,
about
victims'
experiences
with
family
court
specifically
relation
their
mental
physical
health.
Interviews

mothers
were
conducted
explore
these
experiences.

themes

Exposure

intimate

among
individuals
exposed
IPV,
IPV-exposed
women
(IPV-EW)
are
at-risk
for
transitioning
from
substance
use
disorder
(SUD)
demonstrate
greater
SUD
symptom
severity;
