Background: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is the most common form of violence, presenting a significant public health concern, especially for women and girls. Help-seeking can reduce future IPV mitigate adverse outcomes, including mental issues. Objectives: This study first national assessment on IPV, consequences, associated help-seeking behaviors in Nepal. Design: A cross-sectional descriptive study. SummaryBackgroundIntimate partner violence (IPV) is a significant public health issue, closely tied to social and neighborhood environments. The impoverished, overcrowded, stressful conditions in urban slums may heighten IPV risk, yet evidence remains limited. This study aims assess the prevalence, disparities, trends of across low- middle-income countries (LMICs).MethodsThis cross-sectional used nationally representative Demographic Health Surveys data from 2006 2023, focusing on with available domestic for women aged 15–49. outcomes measured include past-year exposure any (primary outcome) physical IPV, sexual psychological (secondary outcomes). Domestic abuse is known to be harmful victim-survivor mothers' well-being, and women are disadvantaged by gender-biased systems in England. Less known, however, about victims' experiences with family court specifically relation their mental physical health. Interviews 45 mothers were conducted explore these experiences. Two main themes presented here: (1) health associated proceedings (2) parental alienation allegations as a weapon trap, silence, pathologise mothers. From themes, conceptual framework was developed: Court Perpetrator Induced Trauma (CPIT). These findings may have global significance for services practitioners who work exposed court.

Survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) face serious health-related, social and economic consequences. Prior meta-analyses indicate efficacy psychosocial interventions for support IPV survivors, but their results are affected by methodological limitations. Extensive subgroup analyses on the moderating effects intervention study characteristics lacking. To address these limitations in an up-to-date comprehensive meta-analytic review, four literature databases (PsycInfo, Medline, Embase, CENTRAL, March 23, 2022) were searched randomized-controlled trials examining compared to control groups improving safety-related, mental health, outcomes survivors. Weighted IPV, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), calculated under random-effects assumption. Subgroup performed investigate predefined characteristics. Study quality was rated. In all, 80 studies included qualitative synthesis, 40 meta-analyses.
