Opioid dependence is a chronic health condition with significant public implications. treatment (ODT) has evolved considerably over time. In New South Wales, Australia, ODT prescribing been available since 1970, managed by both state services and private practitioners, mostly general practitioners (GPs). This study investigated how various initiatives influenced GP engagement in Wales. The research employed mixed-methods approach, combining document review, key informant interviews, quantitative prescriber data analysis. Findings revealed substantial increase GPs the 1970s, providing care for half of ODT-treated population 2022. However, only small percentage offered ODT, resulting limited access unmet needs. structure remained vulnerable to potential disruptions availability. These results highlight complex interplay between policy clinical practice addressing opioid dependence. underscores need long-term, diverse strategies improve support involvement comprehensive individuals

This article investigates the transformative potential of social policy interventions in restructuring gender relations and women’s economic empowerment. It specifically examines Zimbabwe’s Fast Track Land Reform Programme as a instrument designed to reshape positioning rural settings. Through qualitative quantitative analyses data from 30 women land beneficiaries, study reveals significant shifts roles being marginalised individuals landowners employers, thereby challenging traditional patriarchal structures. Large language models (LLMs) are being used to classify texts into categories informed by psychological theory (“psychological text classification”). However, the use of LLMs in classification requires validation, and it remains unclear exactly how psychologists should prompt validate for this purpose. To address gap, we examined potential using classification, focusing on ways ensure validity. We employed OpenAI's GPT-4o (1) reported speech online diaries, (2) other-initiations conversational repair Reddit dialogues, (3) harm healthcare complaints submitted NHS hospitals trusts. A recent challenge is how to mix qualitative interpretation with computational techniques analyze big data. To this end, we propose “multi-resolution design” for mixed method analysis of the same data: zooms-in provide in-depth contextual insight and quantitative zooms-out measures, associations, statistical models. The raw data transformed between excerpts, counts, measures; each having unique gains losses.
