Limited research has investigated individual differences in this ability. In paper, we present results of three studies that explore generalisability stability five tasks (fingerprints, faces, artificial‐prints, footwear toolmarks). We report data new examining (Exp. 1) toolmark 2), as well all 3). Our reveal generalises across stable test–retest reliability over time.
