Background Although multimorbidity is a public health problem, it's possible association with food insecurity not well documented. Objective This study aimed to investigate the between and in Cyprus. Methods cross-sectional was conducted June 1, 2022, May 28, 2023, Cyprus using representative sample of 1255 adults mean age 43.4 ± 17.1 years. Participants were required complete self-report questionnaire on insecurity, sociodemographic factors. Men women ≥18 years eligible for inclusion study. Results The majority married (66%), higher education (68.7%) had yearly salary €6500-€19,500 (44.3%). Food significantly individuals multimorbidity. 67% more likely be insecure, than those without basic model adjusted sex, being 81% experience within this group. However after adjusting demographic, socioeconomic, anthropometric factors, no longer statistically significant. Conclusions Despite fact that people are insecure compared multimorbidity, other socio-demographic factors seem influence above association. Further, studies should European countries clarify underlying mechanisms.
