Abstract Biological products used in soybean seed treatment can enhance soil microbial activity, thereby improving health. Brazil is the world‘s largest producer of soybeans and has a vast diverse cultivation area characterized by varying weather conditions. However, there lack studies that have assessed health response to biological conditioners based on calcium sulfate dihydrate applied at large-scale farmer-led over extended periods Brazilian fields. To address this gap, we carried out study across 3000-km transect evaluate responses conditioner three consecutive years. Soil indicators including organic carbon, extracellular ß-glucosidase enzyme bulk density, pH, available phosphorus, exchangeable potassium were measured, interpreted, integrated into index (SMAF-SHI) compare experimental strips with without conditioner. A dataset 87 sampling points collected from 15 experiments years application (i.e., 2021 corresponds one application, 2022 two applications, 2023 applications) was analyzed. The results showed site- year-specific alterations chemical, physical, indicators, as well overall SMAF-SHI. In general, effects subtle statistically undetectable for most metrics application. observed potential changes β-glucosidase density after further understand long-term soil, propose continued monitoring time, particular focus rhizosphere, inclusion molecular biology methods measure abundance, diversity functionality microbiome.
