Autism
spectrum
disorder
(ASD)
is

research

clinical
fields.
Due
to
the
improvement
of
screening
programs
diagnostic
procedures,
an

are
reaching
attention.
Despite
this,

pharmacological
options
for
treating
ASD-related
symptoms
still

limited,
while
wide
studies
focused
on
children
or
adolescents,
there
need
increase
about
treatment

Given
this

Background:
Borderline
personality
disorder
(BPD)
is
a
pervasive
mental
health
condition
characterized
by
heightened
risk
of
suicidal
behavior.
Emerging
research
has
suggested
potential
overlap
between
BPD
and
subthreshold
autistic
traits
(ATs),
raising
the
possibility
that
these
may
influence
development,
course,
severity
BPD,
particularly
in
relation
to
ideation
behaviors.
This
study
aims
evaluate
relationship
ideation,
behaviors,
ATs
individuals
with
BPD.
Methods:
We
assessed
106
subjects
using
mood
spectrum
self-report
version
(MOODS-SR)
Adult
Autism
Subthreshold
Spectrum
(AdAS
Spectrum)
questionnaire.
The
sample
was
divided
into
three
groups
based
on
Non-parametric
tests
compared
AdAS
scores,
while
Spearman’s
correlation
relationships
scores
suicidality.
Logistic
regression
analyses
were
conducted
identify
predictive
domains
for

Subjects

significantly
more
features
than
non-suicidal
subjects.

Background
