Common homogeneous electrochemical (HEC) sensors usually suffer from the drawbacks of high background signal, low signal-to-noise ratio, and even false positive results due to preaddition electroactive substances. Thus, it is necessary develop novel HEC based on in situ generation substances overcome these shortcomings, which, however, underexplored. In this work, two-dimensional (2D) nanozymes, i.e., cobalt-doped 2D Ti3C2 MXene nanosheets (CMNSs), with excellent peroxidase-like properties were utilized for organophosphate pesticides (OPs) detection. The CMNSs synthesized via a template-directed wet chemical approach displayed outstanding features hydrophilia water dispersibility, which could catalyze oxidation o-phenylenediamine (OPD) generate significantly increased reduction current. Interestingly, exhibited unique response thiol compounds thus employed as highly efficient catalysts OPs hydrolysis acetylthiocholine (ATCh) form thiocholine catalyzed by acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition AChE activity OPs. recovery analysis pakchoi extract solutions ranged 97.4% 103.3%. as-proposed sensor will provide new way development high-performance demonstrate potential applicability determination pesticide residues real samples.

Fluorescent organic dyes have been extensively used as raw materials for the development of versatile imaging tools in field biomedicine. Particularly, solid-state fluorophores (SSOFs) past 20 years has exhibited an upward trend. In recent years, studies on SSOFs focused advanced tools, such optical contrast agents and phototherapy agents, biomedical applications. However, practical application these hindered owing to several limitations. Thus, this Perspective, we provided insights that could aid researchers further develop overcome limitations limited aqueous dispersibility, low biocompatibility, uncontrolled emission. First, described inherent photophysical properties fluorescence mechanisms conventional, aggregation-induced emissive, precipitating with respect their Subsequently, highlighted functionalized bioimaging, biosensing, theranostics. Pyrethroid pesticides are one of the most important groups used to reduce pest population that cause farmers significant economic loss. Apart from that, it is widely control domestic insects and care for animals. However, not soluble in water, accumulates over time food items directly consumed by humans Through surface runoff, ends up water bodies, where these yrethroid very harmful fish, crabs, lobsters, turtles. In humans, causes neurotoxicity, autism, reproductive toxicity. whereas, aquatic species, produces severe oxidative stress histopathological abnormalities. So, a quick detection method required this reason, so we can avoid consuming pyrethroid-contaminated foods. review, reviewed uses classes pyrethroid group pesticides, their toxicity profiles mammals utilized detection, general overview recent advancement development biosensors real-time detection.
