We develop a novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emitter of aqueous-based perovskite quantum dots, with long-term stable ECL emission in aqueous media. Moreover, an electron transfer annihilation mechanism generation is proposed, revealed by the experimental results. This study opens door for exploring efficient perovskite-based emitters.

Pneumonia is a prevalent acute respiratory infection and major cause of mortality hospitalization, the urgent demand for rapid, direct, highly accurate diagnostic method capable detecting both Streptococcus pneumoniae (S. pneumoniae) Klebsiella (K. arises from their prominent roles as primary pathogens responsible pneumonia. Herein, two luminescent iridium complexes with nonoverlapping photoluminescence spectra, iridium(III)-bis [4,6-(difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2′] picolinate (abbreviated Ir–B) bis (2-(3,5- dimethylphenyl) quinoline-C2,N′) (acetylacetonato) iridium(III)) Ir-R), were unprecedently proposed to construct novel wavelength-resolved magnetic multiplex biosensor simultaneous detection S. K. based on catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) signal amplification strategy combined dye-doped silica nanoparticles. Notably, not only exhibits broad linear range 50 pM 10 nM but also demonstrates excellent recovery rates (96.1–99.3%) (94.8–101.5%) in real clinical samples, corresponding relative standard deviation (RSD) values ranging 2.57 3.15% 1.45 3.17% pneumoniae. These favorable experimental outcomes undoubtedly offer promising approach multiple future.
