Inspired
by
the
responsiveness
of
natural
systems
to
their
surrounding
environments,
researchers
have
sought
understand
these
biological
processes
and
develop
functional
stimuli-responsive
polymeric
for
a
wide
range
applications
such
as
drug
delivery,
imaging,
regenerative
medicine.
Both
synthetic
polymers
biopolymers
been
studied
incorporated
into
assemblies
different
morphologies
well
hydrogels
with
diverse
shapes
dimensions.
This
special
issue
highlights
recent
research
advances
in
this
area,
exciting
challenges
be
tackled
upcoming
years.

Stimuli-responsive
nanocontainers
have
emerged
as
promising
vehicles
to
deliver
molecular
payloads
into
the
cytosol
of
cells
in
a
spatially,
temporally
and
dosage-controlled
manner.
These
respond
specific
type
stimulus
such
change
redox
status,
enzymatic
activity,
pH,
heat,
light,
others.
In
this
work,
we
introduce
photoresponsive
based
on
self-assembly
vesicles
with
surface-confined
cyclodextrin-adamantane
host-guest
chemistry.
The
nanocontainer
surface
is
protected
by
polymer
shell
tetrazine
cross-linker
that
enables
triggered
delivery
upon
exposure
green
light
(515
nm).
We
show
release
vesicle-encapsulated
payload
achieved
also
visible
which
less
harmful
than
UV-light
responsive
reported
previously
for
