ABSTRACT Given their frequent coexistence of plasticizers and nanoplastics, assessing combined toxicological impacts is essential. This study investigates the interactions between di‐n‐octyl phthalate (DNOP) trypsin (TRY) in presence polystyrene nanoplastics (PSNPs) at molecule levels. Molecular docking analysis demonstrates that DNOP could enter active site TRY. Spectral analyses indicate changed TRY's conformation residue microenvironment, which were exacerbated by PSNPs. Particle size transmission electron microscope show PSNPs adsorbed TRY, forming a protein corona. Enzyme activity experiments confirm inhibited with further enhancing this inhibitory effect. Specifically, bind to inducing conformational changes expose additional binding sites, while adsorbing increase local concentration promote interaction The findings provide novel insights when evaluating risks associated both phthalates.
