Abstract The impact of Nd:YAG laser irradiation and the addition zirconium ions (Zr 4+ ) on physical properties CoFe 2 O 4 spinel nano-ferrites has been studied. co-precipitation method was used to synthesize samples. X-ray diffraction (XRD) high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) were employed examine structure morphology. decrease in Curie temperature Tc is due increase Zr content sample. This decline a result an canting spins, leading change thermal energy needed for compensate spin alignment. difference between non irradiated samples about 7%, 43% 34% , Co 1.1 0.1 Fe 1.8 1.3 0.3 1.4 respectively. coercivity sample reduction magnetic anisotropy altered distribution cations (Co 2+ 3+ ). observed trend indicates that irradiation, substitution, can be modify hardness low makes it suitable range applications. high-frequency response 1+x x 2–2x NPs shows they operate within frequency 7.5 GHz–11.56 GHz.
