An ideal green leaf-deposited pesticide formulation should offer advantages such as good water dispersibility, strong foliar affinity, sustained or controlled release of active ingredients, photostability and rain-fastness, minimal nontarget toxicity, use nontoxic organic solvents, degradable adjuvants. In line with this objective, we present preparation a colloidal using optimized lysine-derived carbon dots (LysCDs)-modified CaCO3 (LysCDs/CaCO3) particles the carrier abamectin (Abm) ingredient. The loading capacity in (LysCDs/CaCO3/Abm) is 1.7 to 2.1 times higher than that its counterpart (CaCO3/Abm) prepared without LysCDs, which attributed increased specific surface area pore volume LysCDs/CaCO3 particles. Due acid-induced degradation CaCO3, for LysCDs/CaCO3/Abm accelerated under weakly acidic conditions, accompanied by Ca2+ ions fluorescence changes LysCDs. incorporation LysCDs enhances adhesiveness pesticide, resulting highest degree retention when exposed ultraviolet (UV) light rainfall, compared free-form CaCO3/Abm. This results best performance pest control on Plutella xylostella both indoor outdoor tests. Nontarget biocompatibility evaluations show exhibits lower acute toxicity zebrafish earthworms abamectin. addition, favored residue adjuvant material after release, converted into harmless ions, CO2, Therefore, work designs safer more effective deliver residue, realizing trajectory basically "circular green".

The development of eco-friendly electroactive nanomaterials has attracted great attention in recent years. Here, a biogenic piezoelectric and fluorescent nanocomposite was designed fabricated. Cellulose nanorods (CNRs) were first modified with polyethylenimine (PEI)-functionalized carbon dots (CDs) dual-band green/yellow photoluminescence (PL). CD-modified CNRs incorporated into an electrospun poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) nanofiber piezo-phase alignment. CDs amino-rich polymeric chain not only enhanced the crystallinity but also mediated flexible linking between PVA matrix, which facilitated large-scale preferential alignment nanofibers. output voltage composite improved two times through introduction CDs. Furthermore, inhomogeneous distribution dual-emissive endowed film unique thickness-dependent chromic behavior. An information encryption realized owing to structural-sensitive fluorescence film, showed high potential multifunctional various applications.

Developing facile, on-site, and hand-held devices remains challenging for pyrethroids' residual detection in environmental waters crops. Herein, we synthesized a fluorescent molecule, DTC, to determine pyrethroids via intermolecular interactions. Trifluoromethyl groups DTC reduced water solubility promoted dimer formation, simultaneously diethylamino induced stable twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) state quench DTC's intrinsic fluorescence. Specific binding between facilitated the transition from TICT (ICT) states, disrupting dimers recovering quenched Leveraging this, dual-emitting fluoroprobe combining with water-soluble Eu-ICP was developed, enabling broad-spectrum rapid quantification of six (15 s reaction time limits ∼61 nM). To minimize errors hardware variations smartphone-based operations, fluorescence-visual transverter (FVT) applied enable field remote areas. Meanwhile, friendliness protocol confirmed by studying behavior morphology embryonic-larval zebrafish performing an oxidative damage assessment. Thus, this satisfies technological requirement modern "green" analysis routine food monitoring.
