As a result of global climate change and human production activities, algal blooms are occurring in aquatic environments. The problem eutrophication water bodies is becoming increasingly severe, affecting the safety drinking sources. In this study, an bloom risk index model combining Improved Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (IFAHP), Entropy Weight Method (EWM), Game Theory (GT) was proposed for Shanxi Reservoir based on TOPSIS method. After seasonal spatial variability from 2022 to 2023 analyzed, adaptive simplification calculation optimize model. To enhance its practical applicability, study improved approach. error indexes R2 four seasons annual analysis were 0.9884, 0.9968, 0.9906, 0.9946, 0.9972, respectively. Additionally, RMSE, MAE, MRE values all below 0.035, indicating method’s high accuracy. Using adaptively simplified index, grading delineation areas conducted. A comparison with traditional classification methods showed that levels did not exceed one grade, demonstrating effectiveness This provides valuable guidance prevention control reservoir-type sources, contributing protection sources public health.
