The study herein is directed toward the tuning of various properties recyclable and biocompatible polymer: chitosan (CS) via incorporating variable wt% r‐GO in polymer. CS/r‐GO polymer nanocomposites (PNCs) are prepared form free‐standing film by solution mixing casting technique. To search potential applications, PNCs characterized terms structural, photoluminescence (PL), surface morphology, optical, Raman spectra. crystalline size microstrain both enhanced with rise nanofiller. spectra confirm that as increases, there a minor shift smaller wavenumber locations D, G, 2D bands, while intensity ratios ) increase. Field‐emission scanning electron microscopy results capable offering details regarding quality for interface purposes. characteristic peaks their broadening PL spectra, chromaticity coordinates, dominant wavelength, correlated color temperature altered variation wt.%. optical bandgap, refractive index, Urbach energy found to tune varying nanofiller These suggest PNC may be candidate possible application fabricating tunable optoelectronic devices.
