In this work, the CFD-DEM method is applied to establish a spouted pulsed fluidized bed (SPFB) model, which can enhance heat and mass transfer by eliminating dead zones. The effects of frequency amplitude auxiliary flow on gas–solid flow, particle mixing, characteristics as well mutual correlation analysis are investigated. results show that mixing rate average Lacey index bidispersed particles first increase then decrease with or amplitude. Based comprehensive characteristics, it determined optimal pulse condition 6 Hz 1.2 m/s. convection radiation rates increased 4.8% 9.2%, respectively, compared under continuous flow. provide effective theoretical guidance for design optimization SPFB.
