Abstract Poly‐imidazolium salt (PIS) combines the merits of abundant nitrogen sources, excellent chemical and thermal stability adjustable morphology, making it a promising precursor for Nitrogen‐doped (N‐doped) carbon material. Herein, multidimensional PIS are synthesized via facile solvent‐induced strategy. Then, converted into nanofibers, nanoribbons microspheres composed N‐doped carbon. The effects microstructure, N‐doping degree defects on microwave absorption properties investigated in depth. As result, 2D nanoribbon CN‐2‐700 features high specific surface area, significant moderate conductivity, thereby allowing to sustain perfect conductive networks optimal impedance matching at low filler content (8 wt.%). demonstrates minimum reflection loss (RL min ) −50.15 dB an effective bandwidth (EAB) 7.06 GHz (10.44–17.50 GHz). Overall, this work offers novel path developing multi‐dimensional electromagnetic absorbing materials with simple process remarkable performance.
