Through hydrothermal synthesis, when all other conditions are identical except temperature(compound 1 was synthesized at 140°C, compound 2 180°C), Two kinds of vanadoborate [Cu(en)2]3[Li(H2O)]4[Li(H2O)3]2[V12B18O50(OH)10(H2O)]2·33.5H2O (1) and (H2en)4[Li(H2O)]4[V12B18O55(OH)5(H2O)]·14H2O (2) were successfully. The structure the analyzed by X-ray single crystal diffraction experiment, both compounds contain [V12B18O60]n-(n=16-17) cluster anions, but their counterions is different, which may make [V12B18O60]n- anion skeleton two different. average valence state vanadium in calculated BVS(bond calculation) +4.167, (V (IV)/V (V)=10:2), while +4.099, (IV)/ V(V)=11:1). It speculated that different countercations lead to states anions. magnetic perturbation 2D IR COS map found response peak verifies difference V (IV) / (V) between them. Based on intensity under perturbation, it [B3O3] rings have aromaticity, this conjecture has been verified through quantum chemical calculations. electrochemical properties studied, impedance value lower than 1, indicated had a higher active site during catalysis, consistent with our calculations highly antiaromatic properties. This work shows ratio activity cage can be further changed adjusting conservative cations structure, finally, regulated, enriches structural chemistry vanadoborate.

Two novel arsenotungstate species, [As4W48O168]36– (1a) and [As2W21O77(H2O)3]22– (2a), have been successfully isolated under a one-pot synthetic method. 1a is the second largest cluster constructed from four {AsW12} clusters combined together. 2a can be described as lacunary sites of {As2W19} filled by {W2O8} units. Compounds 1 2 exhibit proton conductivity properties, value 5.0 × 10–3 S cm–1 at 98% relative humidity 75 °C. This work proves that lattice water molecules polyoxoanions participate in formation hydrogen bond, acting effective pathway for intermolecular conduction.

Abstract Exploring efficient heterogeneous catalysts for catalytic oxidation of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) is highly desired. As a class discrete anionic metal oxide clusters, polyoxometalates (POMs) provide abundant active sites, thus resulting their rich redox properties. Here, family known POM‐incorporated Cu I ‐resorcin[4]arene metal‐organic complexes, namely, [Cu 4 (TPTR4A) 2 ][PW 12 O 40 ](OH) ⋅ 0.5DMA 5H ( ‐ PW ), (TPTR4 A) ][PMo 2DMA H PMo ) and ][SiW ] 2.5DMA SiW were utilized as to promote the 2‐chloroethyl ethyl sulfide (CEES). Strikingly, compared novel compound 3 Cl 6 (TPTR4A)(DMA)] CH OH (defined T three complexes exhibited excellent stability, indicating that integration POMs metal–organic units could improve stability compounds. Moreover, showed higher activities CEES CEESO with selectivities both 99 %.
