A novel photoelectrochemical (PEC) biosensor was proposed by preparing Au NP/MXene–BiOCl Moiré superlattice nanosheets as the probes. Upon irradiation with visible light, probe exhibited excellent electrical conductivity well high photoelectric conversion efficiency. Benefitting from PEC property of hybrid probe, sensitive and accurate detection protein kinase activity demonstrated a limit 0.0029 U mL−1. This study verifies great potential MXene nanomaterials.
