As
an
emerging
class
of
hybrid
materials,
donor–acceptor
(D–A)
crystals
with
photoactive
organic
and
inorganic
components
have
gradually
become
ideal
platform
for
photochromic
materials.
Wherein
the
most
available
are
electron-poor
naphthalenediimide,
pyridinium,
triazine
derivatives,
units
electron-rich
polyoxometalates
metal
halides.
Herein,
we
introduced
pyridinium
moieties
into
naphthalenediimide
core
by
conjugated
bonds
so
as
to
increase
electron
deficiency
species
enhanced
properties.
Four
anion-π
interaction
directed
crystals,
(Me2DPNDI)3·(PW12O40)2
(1),
(Et2DPNDI)3·(DMSO)2·(PMo12O40)2
(2),
(Et2DPNDI)3·(PW12O40)2
(3),
(Et2DPNDI)2·(SiMo12O40)
(4),
been
obtained,
which
possess
reversible,
naked-eye
perceptible
color
changes
varying
light
response
rates.
These
rates
follows:

salts
feature
both
photo-
thermally
induced
transfer
pathways,

interactions.
Consequently,
they
demonstrate
a
higher

clusters,
[Cu18(bbpy)18(V6O18)6]·3H2O

[Cu4Ag4(pty)4(V3O9)4]·H2O

(bbpy

3,5-bis(1-benzimidazole)
pyridine,
pty
4'-(4″-pyridyl)-2,2':6',2″-terpyridine),
were
isolated
in
the
same
POV/Cu/N-heterocycle
ligand
reaction
systems.

frameworks

clusters
Cu-organic
complexes.

bbpy
ligands
are
grafted
by
Cu2+
to
a
grid
ribbon
2D
sheet,
which
connected
with
benzene-like

framework.

rings

for
nitrite

of
ascorbic

Chromic
materials

responses

was
prepared
by
mild
one‐step
self‐assembly
strategy.
