Concerns over the safety of ethoxyquin (EQ) highlight need for safer, more effective feed antioxidants. This study investigated a healthier antioxidant compound (AC) as potential alternative to EQ in broilers. A total 351 one-day-old Arbor Acres Plus male broilers were randomly assigned three treatments 21 days: control (CON), group (200 g/ton at 60% purity), and AC containing 18% butylated hydroxytoluene, 3% citric acid, 1% tertiary butylhydroquinone). supplementation reduced acid value, peroxide malondialdehyde content stored feed, decreased intake conversion ratio without affecting body weight gain, enhanced capacity (liver superoxide dismutase; intestinal catalase glutathione peroxidase 7). It improved morphology barrier permeability (lower diamine oxidase D-lactate), potentially by promoting ZO-1, Occludin, Mucin2 expression. The also upregulated NF-κB p50 its inhibitor (NF-κB p105), enhancing immune regulation. Additionally, tended increase beneficial gut microbiota, including
