Abstract We highlight the recent 5 years of research that contributed to our understanding mechanisms RNA interference (RNAi) in insects. Since its first discovery, RNAi has enormously as a reverse genetic tool for functional genomic studies. is also being used therapeutics, well agricultural crop and livestock production protection. Yet, wider application RNAi, improvement potency delivery technologies needed. A mechanistic every step from cellular uptake trigger molecules targeted mRNA degradation, key developing an efficient strategy improve technology.
