The small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus (Fallén) (Hemiptera: Delphacidae), is an increasing threat to Gramineae crops, posing significant risks both the environment and food safety. β-asarone, as a promising green alternative chemical insecticides, possesses wide application prospects in crop protection field. To enhance insecticidal activity of series derivatives were prepared through active substructure splicing strategy, their activities against SBPH evaluated. Among 7 commercial compounds with structures similar β-asarone 12 structural compound 10, which incorporates 2-chloropyridine functional group from flupyrimin, exhibited most potent SBPH, 8.31-fold increase compared β-asarone. Furthermore, transcriptome analysis showed that among selected genes may play important roles activity, ABC transporter gene, MDR49, was significantly down-regulated. MDR49 highly expressed 4th-instar nymphs, highest expression level fat body, midgut, abdomen. RNA interference (RNAi) reduced susceptibility 10 revealed be candidate target 10. Additionally, spectrum excellent efficacy Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) Aleyrodidae) Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) (Acarina: Tetranychidae). This study indicates could further developed novel eco-friendly pesticide.

The pursuit of highly effective, low-toxicity, and eco-friendly algicides for controlling eradicating harmful algal blooms (HABs) is paramount importance. natural allelochemical bacillamide A has displayed impressive algicidal activity against algae with favorable safety profiles. However, the poor synthetic efficiency large dose requirements limit its further application. In this paper, 17 thiazole-containing derivatives (BDs) were designed synthesized in three linear steps as potential algicides. Eight compounds (

Fused sulfur heterocycles, such as triazolothiadiazoles, contain four nitrogen atoms and one atom heteroatoms in their structure. These elements impart electron-donating electron-withdrawing properties, influencing the reactivity chemical behaviour of compounds. Such effects contribute to various interactions, including coordination with metals hydrogen bonding. For example, drug discovery, these interactions play a role binding proteins through non-covalent interactions. Additionally, electronic properties this heterocycle can interact plant pathogens, showing potential for applications agricultural sector. This chapter discusses structural significance triazolothiadiazoles how they affect reactivity, well biological importance medicinal contexts. The triazolothiadiazole shows significant promise applications, warranting further exploration.
