Using non-classical polyfluorophenyl ligands in Pt(II) complexes and other transition metals such as silver is a promising approach the search for more effective safer antitumoral drugs. In this work, series of chelating N-donor with 1,10-phenanthroline 4,5-diazafluorene backbones ketone groups were synthesized (1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione, 1; (R/S)-6-hydroxy-6-(2-oxypropyl)-1,10-phenanthroline-5(6H)-one, 2; 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one, 3; 9-hydroxy-9-(2-oxypropyl)-4,5-diazafluorene, 4). The corresponding [Ag(N,N)2]NO3 (1Ag–4Ag) [Pt(C6F5)2(N,N)] (1Pt–4Pt) prepared. stability these DMSO solution was studied, showing no dissociation over 48 h almost all complexes, except 3Pt. compounds characterized by NMR (1H, 13C, 19F), MS, X-ray diffraction (2, 4, 1Ag, 3Ag, 1Pt, 3Pt). A study cytotoxicity lung carcinoma (A-549) fetal fibroblast (MRC-5) cell lines performed. Compounds 1, 2, 2Ag, 3Pt, 4Pt active against A-549 cells than cisplatin. Complexes 3Ag 1Pt showed an acceptable SI better selectivity cisplatin, proving that silver(I) Pt(polyfluorophenyl) are valuable options searching new

Cell death is a critical biological process necessary for development, tissue maintenance, and defense against diseases. To date, more than 20 forms of cell have been identified, each defined by unique molecular pathways. Understanding these different essential investigating the pathogenesis diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune conditions developing appropriate therapies. Paraptosis distinct form regulated characterized cytoplasmic vacuolation dilatation cellular organelles like mitochondria endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It several signaling pathways, instance, those associated with ER stress, calcium overload, oxidative specific cascades insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF-IR) its downstream pathways comprising mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK). has observed in diverse contexts, including development stress responses neuronal, retinal, endothelial, muscle cells. The induction paraptosis increasingly important anticancer therapy, it targets non-apoptotic tumor cells, which can be utilized to induce death. This approach enhances treatment efficacy addresses drug resistance, particularly cases where cancer cells are resistant apoptosis. Nanocomposite films of (30% PVC/70% PVDF) blend containing silver nanoparticles were synthesized via pulsed laser ablation route (PLA). Changes in physical characterization PVC/PVDF before and after the incorporation AgNPs have been studied. FTIR results confirms interaction between PVC/PVDF. XRD obtain existence peak at 38.42̊ sample PVC/PVDF/Ag4 which confirm embedded high concentration. SEM photos distribution on surface spherical shape approved dispersion blend. The inhibitory zone diameters observed for against Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus recorded as 11 ± 1, 10 15.7 0.6, 17.7 respectively. PVC/PVDF/AgNPs nanocomposite film could be suggested biomedical applications such wound healing products.
